About
I am an experienced mobile designer and developer, with 4-5 years experience working on various mobile products including Games, Applications and Websites. I am always interested in new business opportunities, so if you’d like to work with me in some shape or form, send me an email (mitch [AT] lightvoid [DOT] com).
I started working for Greenius, developing some of the first games for PlayerX, including Family Fortunes and Blockbusters, in partnership with QBranch Wireless. These games had their fair share of top ten download spots, especially Family Fortunes.
Since then I have worked on numerous mobile products, including Greenius’ build system, which allows Greenius to support a wide range of handsets out of the box when developing new applications and games for mobile, and the award winning Nearme mobile service for Oxford Softworks.
I am an experienced programmer, and don’t tie myself down to one language. C++, Java, J2me, Ruby, PHP, JS and Python are among some of the languages I am experienced with, and I am always interested in learning new ones.
I currently work in a small, tight knit team at Greenius Limited, where I am currently the Lead developer on the Nearme mobile service for Oxford Softworks.

Hi David, we’re looking for a freelance programmer to write us some custom modifications for the vBulletin software. Is this something you could do around your existing work? We would ideally be looking to agree on a per-project cost, rather than an hourly or daily rate. An example of a project would be to add a list of Social Groups (vb3.7) to the forumhome page, along with AJAX pagination if there are more than 10 groups.

Hi David,
Are you planning to do any updates to the vB Event Forums modification? I think I’ve found a bug with recurring events in which the calendar header of the thread doesn’t display the days of the week/month on which an event occurs.

Hi Peter,
Sorry but unfortunately I don’t have any plans to update the vB Event Forums at the moment. I’d really love to update it, because a lot of people would benefit from it, but I just simply don’t have the time right now, sorry :-(
